Global Governance Monitor: Human Rights

The International Institutions and Global Governance Program at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), in collaboration with MediaStorm, launched the eighth issue of its comprehensive Global Governance Monitor: Human Rights. The Monitor is an interactive multimedia tool that maps and evaluates efforts to tackle the most pressing problems facing the world, addressing the issues of Nuclear Nonproliferation, Global Finance, Oceans, Climate Change, and Public Health. The lastest installment tracks the international community’s record in responding to the global challenge of human rights by providing a cinematic overview of the issue, an interactive timeline, an issue brief, a matrix cataloging relevant international treaties, organizations, and initiatives, an interactive map, and a resource guide.

CFR dedicates itself to improving the understanding of the world, its challenges, and the foreign policy choices faced by the U.S. and other countries. The Global Governance Monitor has become an extensive and trusted resource used by government officials, journalists, and civic and religious leaders, and is used by educational institutions as a resource.
