You may know Eric from his rants on multimedia or his countless Premiere Pro tutorials here on our blog.

Tim’s pretty amazing, as well.

Between the two of them, they’ve logged a decade at MediaStorm, produced dozens of projects, and launched our new Editing Workflow Workshop. So we’re fairly certain they know what they’re talking about.

Tweet your questions to @MediaStorm with the hashtag #AskMediaStorm, leave us a note on Facebook, or in the comment section below. We’ll pick the best questions for a special crowd-sourced blog post from Eric and Tim.

Would love to hear your thoughts on if/when to use music tracks, how to select good royalty free tracks, working with a composer, etc.

Do you think this kind of multimedia storytelling will play a big role in the future of journalism? How can traditional news outlets like the NY Times get on board with the next stage of digital storytelling?

Hello. I remember a video of Brian Storm about a standard workflow and simple and useful tips for make a documentary product. The thing is that some of the tips are out of date cause technology had changed in few years. A few years ago you needed to prepare the files to edit them in Final Cut. Now the new version and the Adobe Premier can edit several formats. Like this example maybe there are a lot more. I would like to read a simple guide of best practices workflow. Many thanks
