The Peace Corps is looking to fill the position of Multimedia Specialist. The position is based in Washington, DC, but there will be a limited travel component for filming involved.

Requirements
- This position is located in the Peace Corps Office of Communications. Applicants should be proficient in videography and have the ability to develop multimedia applications such as videos for the web and social media, DVDs and other digital formats.
- You should be an expert in Final Cut Pro or comparable software and should be able to use Sorenson Squeeze or comparable software for encoding video for DVD, CD, and the Internet.
- Qualified applicants will also have familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite 6 and be able to perform video editing and create video motion graphics.
- This position functions under the general supervision of the New Media Manager.
Qualifications
- Skill in managing the lifecycle of video products.
- Skill in guiding a client through a creative process to tell an effective story through audio visual tools.
- Skill in creating animation graphics for video products.
- Knowledge of camera formats, codecs, and compression for web, DVD, HD, and broadcast.
- Ability to troubleshoot audio visual equipment such as computers, RAIDS, cameras, lenses, and lights?
- Skill and mastery of Apple Studio (Final Cut, DVD Studio, Compressor) and Adobe CS6 (After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere).
- Skill in creating video products.
- Skill in organizing and storing media files in systems such as RAID(s).
- Ability to produce television, radio, or film productions.
