DOCUMENTARY WRITING/FILM/PHOTO INTERNSHIP IN BURUNDI, CAMBODIA, CHINA, INDIA, OR ZIMBABWE. International Bridges to Justice (IBJ) is again seeking aspiring journalists, photographers or filmmakers who can document the work of legal aid lawyers in Burundi, Cambodia, China, India or Zimbabwe. Working closely with IBJ staff in those countries, aspiring journalists will have the opportunity to document, film or photograph the cases of ordinary people, lost or forgotten by their criminal justice systems and often times the victims of torture or arbitrary detainment. During the preliminary stages of the project, the writer, film- or photo-journalist will shadow the defenders as they work with clients and meet with security personnel.
