Kemal Akdogan

16: June 2015

Kemal Akdogan, born and raised in Adana (Turkey), is a Brooklyn based freelance photographer and a filmmaker. After studying Film Production at New York University, he furthered his studies at School of Visual Arts to master his visual story telling skills. Since then he has worked and collaborated with numerous artists, photographers, cinematographers, and institutions. Various projects he has contributed to include independent films, experimental and promotional videos, artist talks and panel discussions.

Currently, he is working at International Center of Photography producing promotional and recruitment videos and he oversees all audio visual related work; such as Lecture Series, ICP Talks: Climate Change 2014, Public Programs 2015 (a collaboration with Studio 55) to name a few.

MediaStorm is a company pushing the boundaries of storytelling and raising the bar higher with every project they produce. The Methodology Workshop is the ultimate gateway to the behind the scenes, providing an opportunity to understand how they accomplish such great work. Anyone whose job involves multimedia and storytelling should take this workshop. I am grateful for Brian and his team for sharing their knowledge and experience with such generosity.
