Taylor Gentry is a freelance cinematographer and video producer based in Brooklyn, NY. He has shot documentary programming for Discovery Channel, Biography Channel, We TV, Speed TV, and ABC News. Additionally, he has shot advertising and corporate projects for Gatorade, Verizon Wireless, and the US Green Building Council.
In 2006, Taylor was enlisted by Wicked Delicate Films to shoot the independent documentary, The Greening of Southie. The film screened at several film festivals and was acquired for broadcast by the Sundance Channel. While shooting the Greening of Southie, Taylor collaborated with Danny Wilcox-Frazier, working as cinematographer on the MediaStorm project, Driftless: Stories from Iowa. In 2004 he earned an additional camera credit on the Peabody award winning documentary, King Corn. Taylor graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in film production.
