Diane Cook was a producer for MediaStorm in 2007. Prior to that, she was a producer for public radio's This American Life for six years, where she worked on the radio and TV show, and also produced their series of Greatest Hits CDs. The show has won the Peabody, Murrow and duPont awards for its radio reporting, and received Emmy awards for its TV program.
She came to documentary work through the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, ME. In addition she has worked as a writer, audio consultant, and educator. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, and This American Life. Diane is currently a Teaching Fellow in the M.F.A. program at Columbia University, where she is at work on a story collection.
