If you’ve been thinking of spending your summer learning some new multimedia skills, we have several opportunities coming up for you.
We will be holding an Advanced Multimedia Workshop from July 23-29 at our office in Brooklyn, NY. Application deadline is May 27 (one week from today). If you’re interested in a hands-on workshop where you’ll work with a team to conceive, plan, report and produce a multimedia story in one week, you should consider applying for this workshop.
More information about the workshops is here. Applications are accepted online.
If you’re more interested in the organization and thinking behind creating successful multimedia departments and curricula, check out our Methodology Workshop, to be held August 8-12, 2011. This five-day workshop is also held in Brooklyn, NY, and delves deep into the methodology and business of multimedia storytelling approaches and models.
The application deadline for the Methodology Workshop is June 1, 2011. You can find full information about the workshop and how to apply here.
We’ll be on the road this summer as well – there are still some seats left in the One Day Multimedia Storytelling Workshop that we’re holding on June 8, prior to the LOOK3 Festival in Charlottesville, VA. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in multimedia storytelling, no experience is necessary. For information and to sign up, visit the One Day Multimedia Storytelling Workshop on LOOK3’s site.
Another exciting event this summer is the Kalish Workshop – the deadline for this one is Tuesday, May 31, and the workshop will be held June 20-24. This workshop is for any visual editors looking to sharpen their skills.
If you can’t make it to any of our in-person workshops, or are just interested in in-depth training in multimedia reporting and post-production on your own schedule, check out our new Online Training. We have a variety of tracks and subscription options available.
