Crisis Guide: Iran, produced in collaboration with the Council on Foreign Relations is a nominee in the New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage.

A Darkness Visible: Afghanistan


Based on 14 trips to Afghanistan between 1994 and 2010, A Darkness Visible: Afghanistan is the work of photojournalist Seamus Murphy. His work chronicles a people caught time and again in political turmoil, struggling to find their way.

Nominations for the 33rd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards were announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented on Monday, October 1 at a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
