The NPPA Best of Photojournalism 2013 Competition deadlines are approaching.

NPPA holds annual contests developed by photojournalists for Still Photojournalism, Video Photojournalism, Photojournalism Editing and Multimedia Photojournalism.

  • The deadline for Video Photojournalism is January 25, 3pm EST.
  • The deadline for Still Photojournalism, Photojournalism Editing and Multimedia Photojournalism is February 1, 3pm EST.

All of the contests for this year have reconsidered the categories to improve the competition. In the Still Photojournalism contest, categories have been added for the Olympics, the Road to Office and Features. Other changes have been made to clarify the categories to improve the competition.
