The Multimedia Photography & Design Department at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications seeks an accomplished human-centered design professional to be an innovator in their program.

Description

This position requires design practitioner with a strong professional grounding in design across platforms, including print, web and mobile. The designer also would be knowledgeable about UI/UX and comfortable leading students in future applications of design. The ideal candidate would be capable of teaching at levels ranging from beginning graphic design to advanced design courses.

The successful candidate should be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate students, while contributing to collaborative projects of local, national and global significance.

A master’s degree in a communications-related field is preferred and prior teaching experience at the college level is highly desirable.
