The Bob and Diane Fund is a new grant making program that will support visual storytelling about Alzheimer’s and dementia.
The Fund’s founder, Gina Martin, says this about the Fund:
“Our vision is a world where Alzheimer’s disease is cured and millions of people are spared the cruel and painful experience of losing a loved one to this awful disease. As a daughter of Alzheimer’s, I believe that visual storytelling can be a powerful way to advocate for the increased public and private research and spending needed to find a cure.”
Each year, the Bob and Diane Fund will award $5,000 to a visual storyteller—still photography, video, and multimedia—for stories about Alzheimer’s or dementia. Submissions will be open from August 15 – October 15, 2016.
