Vignette Creative is looking for a motivated and multi-talented Cinematographer/Editor who wants to dive in and make a difference at a boutique creative agency/documentary production company. The job is based on Bainbridge Island, Washington (a 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle) but may involve flexible work locations and periods of intensive travel. We all wear a lot of hats at Vignette so we’re looking for a like-minded team player who is ready to contribute.
Description
- Operate cameras, record audio, and otherwise assist on film shoots
- Edit video content for client and original documentary projects
- Assist with producing and coordinating productions
- Participate in internal and client strategy and production meetings
- Contribute to social media and blog
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in film/multimedia/journalism, shooting and editing video
- Proficiency working with Adobe Premiere
- Knowledge of Final Cut X, After Effects, and the Adobe CC suite a plus
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to self-manage, be resourceful, and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm for innovating and growing a documentary-based agency in the new media landscape
- Still photography ability a plus
