Harbers Studios and Film Fatales have put an incredible panel of documentary filmmakers together for their free event celebrating women filmmakers and the stories behind their work. Women in Focus: Shooting in the Firing Line.
Join us for an evening with female filmmakers as we discuss the challenges of shooting in remote and often dangerous locations. Panelists Amber Fares (Speed Sisters) Geeta Gandbhir (Journey of a Thousand Miles:Peacekeepers) and Martha Jeffries (Years of Living Dangerously) will screen clips from their award winning documentaries and share advice on the strategies, logistics and hazards of filming in daunting locations.
Moderated by documentary filmmaker Marie-Helene Carleton (Co-founder of Screening Room.org and Four Corners Media)
Doors and the bar will open at 6pm, the panel will start at 7:00
