Most people have heard of the World Bank, but may not be familiar with IFC, the International Finance Corporation. As a member of the World Bank Group—and the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets—our work spans more than 100 countries. We’re looking for someone to help tell our story creatively, making short films that offer viewers a glimpse into the many ways our projects and investments can improve lives. These initiatives introduce solar power to poor communities, create gender-focused programs to help women join the work force, replace overflowing dumps with green energy-producing solutions, and effect change in many other ways.
Our approach is humble – we work in some of the poorest countries, among vulnerable communities, and there is a lot of work to be done. Our multimedia producers work with our clients to share their stories in a respectful, honest, authentic way. We are looking for someone who is a creative team player, curious about the world, sensitive enough to listen, and experienced in producing high-quality films. The application process closes December 17, 2020.
This is an opportunity to be based in DC, do some work here, but really get out and create films in developing countries.
