It’s been our vision for many years to hold an in-person MediaStorm Storytelling Workshop that is tuition free.
We’re excited to announce the day has finally come, thanks to a partnership with MPB!
MPB is the leading reseller of used digital cameras and lenses in the U.S. They offer the best value when you buy, sell, or trade used camera gear.
Participants for our July 26 – August 2 workshop in the Santa Cruz Mountains will be selected based on the quality of their work and their applications.
Deadline to apply June 11th.
The MediaStorm Storytelling Workshop is a hands-on experience in documentary filmmaking and interactive storytelling.
The primary goal is to create an intimate, character-driven documentary with supporting interactive experiences powered by the MediaStorm Platform.
Participants will work directly with the MediaStorm team in the field, in the editing suite and via online sessions in a collaborative, educational environment.
Applicants can choose to apply for a specific role – visual storyteller, producer, editor, motion graphics, interactive designer, observer or documentarian.
Visit our Storytelling Workshop page to learn more about these roles, see examples of previous workshop stories and learn how to apply.
Note that while there is no tuition for the workshop, participants are required to cover the cost of travel and lodging.
We will be accepting applications until June 11th.
