BD’s Hope for a Healthy World Photo Competition is looking for submissions by photographers covering a variety of global health topics. The winners’ work will be exhibited as part of the Hope for a Healthy World Photo Exhibition, a global health traveling photo gallery used to raise awareness and influence opinion on important health-related issues. The gallery will debut at the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph, June 7-9, 2012 in Charlottesville, VA.
This year’s judges include David Griffin, Visuals Editor at the Washington Post, who for many years worked at National Geographic; Jon Jones, Photo Editor at Sunday TIMES, UK; and Kira Pollack, Director of Photography at TIME Magazine. All winners’ work from last year’s competition can be viewed on the contest site.
