LOOK3 Master Classes are intimate gatherings that are part workshop and part mentorship; an intense experience with a LOOK3 artist that could change your life and influence your work forever.
Think of it as a unique apprenticeship, an opportunity to learn at close range from the most creative and well-known artists who are ready to share their motivations, fears, and methods as a way of giving back to the photographic community.

BRUCE GILDEN brings to this scholarship-only workshop his unique style of street photography which has truly become his own over the past 25 years of working in New York City and other urban areas, both in the US and abroad. Distinguishing one’s self as a photographer requires a deeper understanding of your own unique practice. Considering the diversity of photographic methods available and the archives in the 21st century, one has many possibilities and tools to be a photographic artist today. In this two-day master class, we will explore structure and method as an extension of context.
