The Multimedia Journalist Fellowship with the Public Policy Lab (PPL) offers outstanding working professionals an opportunity to gain significant experience working on unique and challenging projects in the public sector.
The PPL is seeking a versatile multimedia journalist who can capture visual and audio content and create stories for multiple platforms. This role allows you to work closely with the project team (designers and social scientists), civic servants, and the public.

The Magnum Foundation invites NYC-based photographers to explore multi-platform projects at their Photography, Expanded Lab: The Story of Data: Visualization, Mapping, and Photography on Tuesday, April 29th and Sunday, May 4th, 2014.
The deadline to apply for the event has been extended to April 2nd.
MediaStorm is proud to announce that our video series for the International Center of Photography's 29th Annual Infinity Awards has been awarded Honorable Mention in the Best of Photojournalism Visual Column category. First place is MediaStorm contributor Scott Strazzante of the Chicago Tribune for "Shooting From The Hip." Second place is Barbara Davidson of the Los Angeles Times for Framework, and third place is Michele McNally and the staff of The New York Times for the LENS blog. MediaStorm was also awarded Honorable Mention in the Documentary Multimedia Story category for "Swan Song." The BoP Awards honored many excellent multimedia pieces this year. First place in the Multimedia Story category went to Rick Loomis of the Los Angeles Times for "A Soldier's Wife." Second place is The New York Times for "Invisible Child: Dasani's Homeless Life."
