MediaStorm Hiring Back-End Developer

MediaStorm is looking for a passionate and self-motivated back-end develop to implement and customize PHP and MySQL code for MediaStorm's publication and client projects. The ideal candidate will have proven technical expertise in creating scalable, database-driven web applications and websites in PHP, MySQL and MVC frameworks such as CodeIgniter. They will be working with front-end developers and interactive designers to lead and execute development. Transom Announces New Traveling Workshops

Transom.org has announced that it will begin offering week-long Traveling Workshops as an alternative to their signature two-month-long Story Workshop. Applications are now open for the first round of Traveling Workshops, which begin this June in Catalina Island, CA. From the Organizer When we started up our eight-week-long, career-launching Transom Story Workshops, lots of people asked if we could do some introductory training in audio narrative in shorter bursts, and maybe in other locations besides Cape Cod. The answer is finally, yes. Starting this summer, we will offer Transom Traveling Workshops in various parts of the country.
