Documenting Dual Eligibility, a project by Isadora Kosofsky, CatchLight and MediaStorm, and made possible by Arnold Ventures, has been recognized by the 4th Annual Anthem Awards.

The project, which tells the story of two women who are navigating America’s tangled healthcare safety net, has been selected as a Gold Anthem Winner in the Health Partnership or Collaboration / Community Engagement category.

MediaStorm Launches Two New Films for Verse

We are so pleased to announce the launch of two new films with Verse, an immersive interactive storytelling platform. The Last Move and Life After Water are part of a four-story partnership that pairs the MediaStorm storytelling ethos with Verse’s innovative platform. Both films were recently honored by Photographer of the Year International, one of the oldest and most prestigious photojournalism organizations in the world. The Last Move received third place in Documentary Journalism while Life After Water received the Award of Excellence for Multimedia Issue Reporting. MediaStorm’s Andrew Michael Ellis was also recognized as Multimedia Photographer of the Year. MediaStorm received two nominations for the 36th Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards. Hungry Horse, our film collaboration with Pieter ten Hoopen was a nominee in the New Approaches: Arts, Lifestyle, Culture category. Japan's Disposable Workers by Shiho Fukada, produced in collaboration with Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting was a nominee in the New Approaches: Current News Coverage category.
