Pictures of the Year International 2013 Awardees Announced

MediaStorm is honored to announce we have won second place in the Pictures of the Year International Best Website category. Other winners in this category were the Los Angeles Times, which won first place, and TIME, which won third place. It is always a pleasure and inspiration for us to see the best of the industry's work honored in the annual POYi competition and this year is no exception. One of the many benefits of working with the Adobe Production Premium suite is the seamless manner in which applications work together. For example, you can easily send assets from Premiere Pro to After Effects to add additional effects or animation. Those changes will automatically update back in Premiere Pro, all without the need to export. This is a huge timesaver. In Premiere Pro select the clips you’d like to send to After Effects. Transom Announces New Traveling Workshops

Transom.org has announced that it will begin offering week-long Traveling Workshops as an alternative to their signature two-month-long Story Workshop. Applications are now open for the first round of Traveling Workshops, which begin this June in Catalina Island, CA. From the Organizer When we started up our eight-week-long, career-launching Transom Story Workshops, lots of people asked if we could do some introductory training in audio narrative in shorter bursts, and maybe in other locations besides Cape Cod. The answer is finally, yes. Starting this summer, we will offer Transom Traveling Workshops in various parts of the country.
