Innovative Interactivity Offering Interactive Design Workshop

Innovative Interactivity has announced they will be putting on an Interactive Workshop to be held in May 2013. The workshop is designed for graphic designers and storytellers who want to learn how to build interactive graphics but have not had the time or training to do so. The intensive and hands-on bootcamp is project based and students learn HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript(jQuery) in five days. This intensive, five day, project-based learning environment, taught by top professionals and University of North Carolina professors will teach both technical skills and how to design for an interactive user experience. Be inspired by the special presentations from professionals from NBC, The Washington Post and Digital First Media. MediaStorm Guide to Cropping Stills in Adobe Premiere Pro

To read more about why we made the switch, check out this post. Today's post was written by MediaStorm producer Eric Maierson. Let’s start with a picture of my dog, Emmy. This is what it looks like at full frame. When I drag this image from Apple’s Aperture in to the Adobe Premiere Pro timeline, Premiere does not scale the image to fit the frame size of my project (1920x1080). Instead it leaves the image at its original 100 percent size, larger than the Program window. This is different than Final Cut’s behavior, which automatically scales the image vertically to fit the Canvas size.
