Quincy Herald-Whig accepting applications for its paid internship program
The Quincy Herald-Whig is now accepting applications to its brand new paid internship program (the Quinternship) in Quincy, Illinois. The award-winning staff of 3 photographers is searching for interns who have the skills and desire to shoot multimedia projects. There will be plenty of opportunity for the selected applicant to shoot a wide-range of stills, video, and multimedia pieces. The purpose behind the Quinternship Paid Internship Program is to offer students in the field of journalism, broadcasting, communication and related fields the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in broadcast television, radio, and digital information. Students who participate (Interns) will gain a wide variety of practical experience and will receive an hourly wage. The company strives to offer this opportunity to a diverse group of Interns.
