The Metropolitan Museum of Art, in New York City, seeks an experienced Media Producer to lead the development, presentation, and implementation of public-facing digital technologies and educational multimedia to support the Museum’s collection, exhibitions and related activities. Media projects may include media-rich digital resources, interactive installations, video and audio tours. Primary Responsibilities Oversees digital media projects from conception through completion, serving as the primary contact for internal and external parties. Creates and executes project proposals, specifications, and budgets; develops and manages multiple concurrent project plans; helps to shape and define the experience of the Museum visitor—both physical and virtual; and ensures quality and consistency across media product lines. BD Photo Competition

BD's Hope for a Healthy World Photo Competition is looking for submissions by photographers covering a variety of global health topics. The winners' work will be exhibited as part of the Hope for a Healthy World Photo Exhibition, a global health traveling photo gallery used to raise awareness and influence opinion on important health-related issues. The gallery will debut at the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph, June 7-9, 2012 in Charlottesville, VA. This year's judges include David Griffin, Visuals Editor at the Washington Post, who for many years worked at National Geographic; Jon Jones, Photo Editor at Sunday TIMES, UK; and Kira Pollack, Director of Photography at TIME Magazine. Newsday is looking to hire 2 full-time, Manhattan-based Photo/Video editors for their new Manhattan office. The candidate must be skilled at keeping on top of the news and ensuring that the photo needs of the site are being met.
