Living to the End: Lovelle Svart’s Story

Lovelle Svart has cancer. Lovelle, a former news researcher for the Oregonian, has been fighting lung cancer for almost 5 years, and her doctors say she now has six months or less to live. Free music from Moby

For anyone looking for music they can use (legally!) for multimedia projects- Moby has created a section of his website, mobygratis, where students, independent filmmakers, and non-profits can listen to selected pieces of his music. Interested users can register and then submit requests for music to be used (users must agree to terms, including that music is not to be used in any for-profit projects, anything depicting harm to animals, violence, etc). If you’re in Santa Fe, NM from August 3-5, you can check out the Robert Frank Film Festival, put on by Center and the Film Center at Cinemacafé. He made over 25 films in his lifetime. The Festival will show 12 of the films over the 3 days, and his complete film works will be available on DVD at the site (or, you can pre-order the DVD through photo-eye)
