"We are at the beginning stages of crafting a fourth Medium. The transitional time when a new medium is primarily used to replicate the established medium is playing out. New forms which take advantage of the unique attributes of this forth medium are being developed. On this site you will meet some of the people who are working on and thinking about what these new forms can be. They are artists, journalists, journalists, activists. They share their ideas about story design and function. The pass along lessons learned. They reveal their hopes for the role this new medium can play in society. They tell you about where they go for inspiration. We invite you to spend some time with these Digital Thinks and to share your own thoughts about the ongoing (r)evoluton in digital storytelling." -- Nora Paul, Director Institute for New Media Studies, University of Minnesota Digital Think website: http://www.mediacenter.org/digitalthink/dig_think_main.html
