The application deadline for The Eddie Adams Workshop is coming up quick - photographers have until this Friday, May 28, to submit their work to be considered for this year's Workshop. The Eddie Adams Workshop is an intensive, four-day, tuition-free workshop that takes place in Jeffersonville, New York. Each year 50 students and 50 professional photographers with three years or less experience are chosen to participate based on their portfolios. These photographers work in teams to complete projects with award-winning photo editors and photographers. Awards given each year include a scholarship from Nikon, a one-week internship at The White House, and generous prizes from numerous industry sponsors. This year's Workshop will be held October 8-11, in Jeffersonville, NY. Check out the site for more info and the application form.

Multimedia projects from Eddie Adams Workshop XXII now live

This past weekend, 100 students and well over 100 faculty and volunteers gathered in Jeffersonville, NY for the 22nd Eddie Adams Workshop. All of the students who attend shoot still images during the Workshop, and several are given the chance to also record audio and video for a final multimedia presentation. A team of producers, led by Brian Storm, Tom Kennedy, and Rich Beckman produced 10 multimedia stories this year. This year's multimedia team included: Jenn Ackerman, Kari Collins, Maisie Crow, Rob Finch, Sonya Hebert, Loup Langdon, Paul Myers, Stefania Rousselle, Steve Sapienza, and Melissa Wiley, with graphics by Jacky Myint and multimedia tech support from Bob Houlihan. 2008 Eddie Adams Workshop Multimedia Presentations

The 2008 Eddie Adams Workshop was held this past weekend.  All of the 100 students who attend shoot still images during the Workshop, and several are given the chance to also record audio for a final multimedia presentation. A team of producers, led by Brian Storm, Tom Kennedy, and Rich Beckman produced 9 multimedia stories this year. This year's multimedia team included:  J. Gwendolynne Berry, Tim McLaughlin, Meredith Birkett, Alexandra Garcia, Wes Pope, Alan Hagman, Bruce Strong, Elissa Eubanks, and Jim Virga (with graphics by Tim Klimowicz and digital tech support from Mark Gong).
