Spend the day with MediaStorm at our One Day Workshop on Saturday, October 25th, 2014. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in multimedia storytelling, no experience is necessary. Participants spend the day with executive producer Brian Storm learning multimedia storytelling approaches and engaging in discussion about the most appropriate ways to create a multimedia story. When the day is done, you will leave with tips and techniques to help you improve the reporting, editing and distribution of your multimedia project. UnionDocs Kicks Off Documentary Fundamentals Workshop Series

Beginning Sunday, April 27th, 2014, UnionDocs will present a nuts-and-bolts professional development series designed for the beginning or intermediate documentary filmmaker. Documentary Fundamentals @ UnionDocs is a six-week course culminating in a certificate of completion. Registrants can also attend individual sessions. World Press Photo Introduces Free Education Platform “Connected Learning”

Connected Learning is an open and free education platform on Facebook spearheaded by World Press Photo Academy. The first course, "Storytelling," is an extension of a face-to-face multimedia workshop happening now with ten selected participants from North Africa. Over the next ten weeks the Academy will be sharing tips and links provided by the trainers: Cédric Gerbehaye, DJ Clark and Matt Ford together with behind-the-scenes material from the face-to-face multimedia course. Tutorials, assignments and video interviews with multimedia and photography professionals will also be made available to Facebook participants.
