Magnum Photos is excited to announce a professional practice workshop in San Francisco, taking place on Saturday & Sunday November 11-12, 2017 at SF Camerawork.

MediaStorm’s founder and executive producer Brian Storm will be joining Magnum photographer Matt Black, and Mother Jones magazine Photo Editor Mark Murrmann, for this workshop that will include invaluable inspiration and practical advice for early and mid-career photographers.

The event is a two-day photographic masterclass centered around photographic storytelling in which we grapple with such questions as what makes a good story, how to choose and narrow in on your subject, the importance of editing and how to connect with your audience.
