Jean-Jacques Naudet was born in Paris in 1945. He has been married to the same woman for 38 years and has two children and two grandchildren. He started his career at French Vogue in 1968. In 1971, he moved to French Photo, for which he was editor in chief from 1976 to 1988. He has been editor at large of American Photo and photo correspondent to Hachette Filipacchi since 1989. He has never published anyone without meeting her or him first.
