Robin Ewing has spent most of the last 16 years working in Asia as a journalist and journalism educator. She currently lectures in the journalism department at Hong Kong Baptist University teaching print, multimedia storytelling and online journalism classes. She is also the Associate Director of the MA in International Journalism Studies program and coordinator of the undergraduate International Journalism program.
Prior to journalism education, Robin worked in print media in Thailand and the US and received an MA in journalism from the University of Texas. She is a native Texan.
Robin participated in the June 2014 MediaStorm Methodology Workshop. She had the following to say about her experience:
Just how has Brian Storm created a successful business out of telling stories that matter without compromising his value system? He has formed a small team of some of the most talented, passionate and visionary people out there who get the job done and make it look easy. Then, with refreshing transparency and clarity, he and the rest of MediaStorm tell you exactly how they did it and where they are going next. It’s hands down the best workshop I’ve been to, and the diversity and contribution of the participants was as valuable, and fun, as the workshop content itself. I left the week more inspired then ever to contribute, create and build.
