"Born and raised"" in the newspaper business in Norway. I have been a still photographer for 27 years covering most fields in a newspaper, from news to sports, food to foreign. I love to do editorial illustrations when needed. I have also worked as photo editor for periods, but always miss the people out there. Now I'm doing feature stories for our weekend magazine and the last few years I've been making films for our iPad/online edition.
My formal education is: Radio-journalism 1985--1986, Photojournalism 1986-1988, and Film/TV production 2011-2012.
My biggest challenge these days is to try to find a balance between the long-term film projects that spin off the magazine stories,my job as a still photographer and a mother of three.
I hope not limit myself to the paper business to tell my stories, but I must say I'm also a GREAT Magazine fan and proud and happy to work in one.
Annemor participated in the July 2014 MediaStorm Storytelling Workshop. She had the following to say about her experience:
It was a hot and intense week with your stormtroopers. The workshop gave me insight into MediaStorm’s ways of working out The Story in the editing room. To see the story finally starting to evolve after hours and hours of tedious logging, labeling and transcribing was a relief. The importance of knowing your material and where to find it is one of the things I will keep up, back home.
What surprised me was that, even though I participated as an editor, I also learned a lot about shooting because both Tim and Eric showed good examples of what worked and what didn't in the footage.
Thanks again for giving me "flat tire and parachute-memories". Coney Island will never be the same.
