Lucia Nader is a Brazilian human rights activist and is currently a fellow with the Open Society Foundations (February 2015 to January 2016). Lucia has more than 20 years of experience in the human rights and non-profit field and was the executive director of the NGO Conectas Human Rights, headquartered in the city of São Paulo, from 2011 to 2014.
Based on her experience, Lucia believes that multimedia and storytelling strategies are a key component of social change and should be improved in the non-profit environment.
Lucia holds a postgraduate degree in Development and International Organizations from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences-Po) and a bachelor degree in international relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (PUC-SP).
