I’m a passionate and energetic filmmaker and photographer who has recently relocated to Tanzania to work throughout Africa and the Middle East. I have over 10 years experience as a producer, writer, director, cinematographer, editor and photographer. I bring a professional eye for detail to projects that I work on, producing films that not only entertain but also inspire audiences to think, feel and respond.
I have produced short and feature length films which have screened at film festivals, in cinemas and on TV networks worldwide. Clients include Al Jazeera (Worldwide), ABC TV (Australia), SBS TV (Australia), STV (Sweden), LinkTV (America), Mongol TV (Mongolia), Cathay Pacific Airlines, Nike, BHP Billiton and Yorta Yorta Nation. I have created works for travel companies, museums, multicultural organisations, charities and indigenous communities.
I am confident shooting solo and in a team and I am adept at making people comfortable with sharing their story. I am passionate about humanity and change, and love the challenges filmmaking throws at me.
Benj participated in the June 2015 MediaStorm Methodology Workshop. He had the following to say about her experience:
As a freelancer keen to work on larger projects and employ people, the Methodology Workshop gave me a great understanding of how to start a company. Brian and his team willingly opened the doors to MediaStorm and let us wander around, peering into all the corners of the business and asking endless questions. Brian and his staff were super helpful and generous with their knowledge, presenting five days of invaluable insights, processes and training that I can't wait to put into practice.
