Since 2007, Susan Fogg has been an interactive producer for key web sites at the International Mission Board (IMB) in Richmond, Va. She works on imb.org and the award-winning story site, Commission Stories. Susan is also content manager and publisher for the Lottie Moon @ Work story site. She has been fortunate to travel to two of the poorest countries in the world, Mali and Niger, as well as one of the richest, China.
Before joining IMB, Susan spent 10 years as a successful independent interactive producer. She wrote and produced projects for clients like Capital One, Alcoa Aluminum, J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College and IMB. She also spent 16 years as a corporate video producer and photographer for Reynolds Metals Company and Sovran Bank (now Bank of America).
Susan enjoys learning new technology and collaborating on stories that touch the heart and encourage change.
Susan participated in the December 2013 MediaStorm Methodology Workshop. She had the following to say about her experience:
The workshop inspired me to want to create change in how we produce videos and slideshows. It also was a great audio refresher. Just spending time looking at various projects, dissecting them and talking through the creative decisions, was very thought-provoking. I was reminded of what makes a great story and learned new storytelling techniques. The presentation about the business and project model was also beneficial.
