Katy Sai is president and chief creative at StoryBridge, a video storytelling studio based in Madison, Wisconsin. She was drawn to broadcast journalism after winning a collegiate national championship in public speaking. For 20 years, she worked as a TV news anchor/reporter with a passion for community service reporting. She cycled hundreds of miles covering the AIDS ride, created an annual Community Baby Shower that became a model for other cities, and orchestrated a multi-platform civic journalism project to engage the community in creating a comprehensive city time capsule. Katy launched StoryBridge in 2007 to put her experience to work for mission-driven organizations. The team creates regional and national programming for a broad range of causes from clean energy to cancer detection. She was named a journalist of the year by Milwaukee Press Club and her work has been recognized by the Associated Press, the Telly Awards and Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association.
