Georgia Pressley is a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker based in Northern California and New York. Her work focuses on stories about aging, American culture, and womanhood, combining her curiosity about people’s lives with a commitment to honest storytelling.
She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology’s Photojournalism program, where she developed her skills in photography, video, and multimedia production.
Currently, Georgia works at Tripod Media as a footage logger, where she helps organize and interpret video assets to support ongoing projects. Before this, she worked at The Buffalo News, the Democrat and Chronicle, and the Chautauquan Daily, contributing to a range of local journalism efforts. Her experience also includes roles at the National Museum of American History and the De Young Museum, where she explored the connections between history, culture, and visual storytelling.
