Margo Reed is a photographer and videographer based in rural Pennsylvania. She got her start as a still photographer at The Philadelphia Inquirer. After completing a contract with the Inquirer in 2019, Margo established her studio to produce engaging content for people she previously would have worked with on news assignments. Today, that often includes higher education institutions, news outlets, and nonprofit organizations.
Notably, she worked with the Inquirer to produce and film a mini-doc series chronicling a season with Villanova Women's Basketball as their star-player, Maddy Siegrist, made it to the WNBA. Most recently, Reed completed a grant-funded oral history project about immigrants in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Margo has had work featured in People, New York Times, NPPA's News Photographer Magazine, Associated Press, and the Philadelphia Inquirer, among others. She is a member of the Professional Photographers Association, the Freelancers Union, and the Video Consortium.
