Dave Wurtzel is an award winning Director & Cinematographer based in New England. Stories are quite possibly the most instinctual ancient connection between us as humans. Today, the most popular way stories are told is by way of visuals. For me - being honest, intentional, and authentic is key. My work is built on a creative spirit that continues to inspire an original approach to each project. I specialize in serving the needs of brands, films, and fellow content creators. Bringing films to life through the use of motivated naturalistic visuals. When I'm not behind a camera I can be found writing music, playing on my beer league hockey team (The Barbarians aka The Barbs), or just enjoying the little things in life with my wife and our 2 beautiful children. Awards and honors include POY Award of Excellence for Documentary Storyteller of the Year (2023), 15 Boston / New England Emmy Awards, and 2 Boston region Murrow Awards.
